Comer, in partnership with other companies, has had its project “NET-ZERO MANUFACTURING LOMBARDY ID 6077436” approved, funded by the Regional Programme under the European Regional Development Fund 2021/2027 of the Lombardy Region PR FESR 2021-2027. The planned project budget is €667,177.98, with a corresponding grant of €400,306.79. This important achievement allows us to focus on designing a permanent magnet synchronous motor with an extremely high torque-to-maximum-speed ratio and a top speed of 30,000 rpm. The project’s goal is to study and develop a high-speed motor suitable for a wide range of applications, aiming to reduce additional winding losses caused by the skin effect and proximity effect. These types of motors are tailored to various applications, from turbines to innovative heat pumps, and in particular to automotive test benches used for testing the electric motors that power new full-electric vehicles.
